What we will cover

This Boot Camp provides an overview of the features and functions of the Oracle Communications Converged Application Server (OCCAS) and an introduction to the installation and configuration concepts. It focuses on installation, domain setup for a production and development environment. It explains the SIP servlet container functions and SIP servlet API to start developping SIP and converged applications.

Learn to:

  • Understand the Converged Application Server benefits.
  • Install and patch Converged Application Server.
  • Create a Converged Application Server domain.
  • Start and stop servers.
  • Set up and use node manager.
  • Deploy and upgrade applications.
  • Monitor domain resources.
  • Use a cluster for scalability and high availability.
  • SIP servlet container configuration.
  • Use Eclipse IDE to build and deploy applications in development mode.
  • Understand the SIP servlet container functions and SIP servlet API.
  • Create SIP applications with SIP servlet API.

Prerequisites skills include:

  • Some system administration experience.
  • Some experience using basic Linux commands.
  • Some Java experience.

Duration

  • Five (5) days with hands-on practices.

Assessment

After attending this training session, pass the Oracle Communications Converged Application Server Implementation Specialist.

Note that partner participation approval depends on meeting prerequisites and that the event may be rescheduled/cancelled according to internal business reasons.
