Our exclusive MySQL Enterprise Edition: Hands-on Lab Session is an advanced training program designed specifically with our valued partners in mind. This session will provide attendees an in-depth technical understanding of the MySQL database.
Benefits:
- This session will help prepare you to take the MySQL Implementation Associate/exam (1Z0-922) from Oracle University and achieve certification
- Partners can use skills and knowledge gained to extend their ability to create and deliver expert professional services offerings around MySQL.
- An OU exam attempt (normally $250) will be provided to attendees who’ve completed prerequisites and attend full duration of session*

What is the Approval Process?
All partners will be placed on a waitlist until they complete the mandatory prerequisites. There is a 2-student limit per partner to give everyone a chance unless there is a shortage of folks completing the prerequisites.
Approvals will be on a first-come, first-served basis – it’s highly recommended that the prerequisites are completed as soon as possible to better ensure your spot.
What are the mandatory prerequisites?
- Complete the self-paced MySQL 8 Essentials learning path from Oracle University
- Once completed, please send the screenshot from your OU Dashboard showing 100% completion of MySQL 8 Essentials course to garreth.mccullagh@oracle.com.

Additional requirements to participate:
- A laptop with a SSH client
- Basic knowledge of SQL (use <database>, create database/table, select, insert, update, delete)
- Basic knowledge of Linux (labs are executed inside Oracle Linux 8 machines)
- How to use vi (or other CLI based text editors like nano, joe, vim - whatever editor you prefer), common Linux commands (yum, ls, mv, cp, tar, pwd, ps, systemctl, tail, groupadd, useradd, grep, kill)

Registration: This event is restricted to active OPN Members.
