This hands-on lab will allow Sales Reps and Solution Engineers to understand and demonstrate Oracle Machine Learning (OML).
With Oracle Machine Learning (OML), customers can run machine learning algorithms inside of an Oracle database. This is an important strategic advantage for Oracle and it's customers because data does not need to be moved from the database to some other tool to do machine learning.

Demonstrate value by showing customers how to load data into an Oracle database without requesting assistance from IT or a database administrator. 

Applications require data for development, testing, viewing, manipulating, and reporting. Line of business customers typically rely on IT support teams or DBAs to get data into a database. However, they are usually backlogged with more critical business requests so it would be great if there was an easier way for customers to do it themselves.

Demonstrate value by showing customers how to customize their data management solutions by selecting and enabling key capabilities that are already included with the Oracle database.

Customers are faced with a wide range of data management solutions from multiple vendors that specialize in big data, analytics, business intelligence, and others. Each of their applications might require one or more specialty, and many businesses subscribe to single purpose database services to address those needs. Managing multiple vendor solutions is always a challenge.

Process automation has become an integral part of every business. According to McKinsey, approximately 31% of businesses have fully automated at least one business function. Therefore, with the growing integration of automation into various business processes, modern organizations must understand the advantages of business process automation.

In this lab, you’ll see how to win customers by demonstrating the power of OCI Process Automation (OPA). You will discover how to quickly automate approval workflows for a pizza chain to help them accelerate its ingredient ordering process without coding requirement.  

This workshop starts with a napkin design of data structures we would like to use for a proof-of-concept. Using Quick SQL you will quickly define the data structures and utilize various table and column directives to better define the tables and also create some dummy data. You will then be creating an application based on the new tables. Lastly, you will be updating some of the generated components to improve the initial app.

This lab guides you through the procedure of setting up an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure GoldenGate replication process with Autonomous Transaction Processing as the source and Oracle Object Storage as the target. After taking this lab, the learner will be able to replicate data from Autonomous Database to OCI Object Storage, deploy an Oracle Autonomous Database, run an extract and replicate on the database, and monitor the extract and replicat processes. Additionally, the learner will be able to create purge tasks in the OCI GoldenGate console.
